Eligibility Criteria

Position Name: Field Engineer

Education: 

• BE – Civil and Architecture
• BS-Civil
• B-Tech
• DAE (Diploma in Associate Engineering) in Civil
• All qualifications must be from HEC-recognized universities or institutes.

Experience: 

Fresh graduates are welcome; experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

Location: 

Candidates will be deployed in:

• District Khairpur
• District Larkana
• District Kamber Shahdadkot
• District Shikarpur
• District Jacobabad

Selected candidates must be willing to work in deep rural areas of these districts.

Salary Structure:

Here are the details of salary structure according to the required education for the post of Field Engineer in Sindh Rural Support Organisation (SRSO). 

• Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (BE)
• Salary: PKR 50,000 + PKR 15,000 (Fuel Allowance)

• Qualification: B-Tech/BS-Civil
• Salary: PKR 45,000 + PKR 15,000 (Fuel Allowance)

• Qualification: Diploma in Associate Engineering
• Salary: PKR 40,000 + PKR 15,000 (Fuel Allowance)

Responsibilities of a Field Engineer 

Here are some core responsibilities of a Field Engineer in Sindh Rural Support Organisation (SRSO).

01. Community Engagement:

• Inform and instruct members of the Village Reconstruction Committee (VRC) on the principles of resilient construction.
• Facilitate beneficiaries in modifying dwelling layouts and designs to comply with necessary requirements.

02. Construction Oversight:

• Ensure quality construction at every phase (plinth, lintel, roof, and completion levels).
• Certify at least 50 housing units per month.
• Conduct regular inspections and report any construction issues.

03. Coordination:

• Make sure housing projects are accessible by collaborating closely with vulnerable groups, especially people with disabilities.
• Oversee masons and ensure adherence to guidelines.

05. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain and submit progress reports.
• Daily updates in official groups.
• Submission of weekly progress reports to supervisors and higher authorities.
