PPSC Sub Inspector Punjab Police Interview Experience 

In my interview for SI (Sargodha region, Multan centre), the panel was based on Pervez Malik sahb and two police officers. I was last on the list on that day.

When I entered the room, they asked if I observed fast, I said "No" then they said, you had to wait for hours, I said this job demands to be patient so there was no problem.

Then Interview head asked 3-4 degree (DVM) related questions after the introduction. I answered with sorry on one question. He said I am a doctor so why do I want to join the rough and tough job. 

I answered that I want to do that job where I can interact directly with society. My father served in the army for 26 years, so I am quite aware of this kind of situation. 

And rest was based on police questions from police officers including a case of Khanewal where I was asked to control the mob through negotiation. 

I remained confident and talked for about 2 minutes in a standing position. They asked about if I was going to appear in CSS, I said "No" and want to focus only on police right now. 

The lady police officer asked why I want to join the police. 

I answered that I want to do the uniform job and particularly the Police because it has more social acceptance and one can positively influence society. We can bring positive development to society as SI. 

 

The male police officer asked what is "Thana Culture". I responded to the question by answering that a person who faces any kind of legal problem report to the police station and the corresponding SHO takes action according to the available resources.

Then they said thank you

(In the introduction, I mentioned that my father served in the army and I have also been the president of the society at the university)

What are your remarks on it? It was my first experience of the interview so I am not sure why they didn't ask GK and other questions, although I was prepared.
